Hit coffee Roasters

This is a famous coffee place near Hongdae Station.

An old-looking wooden standing sign and outdoor seating greet you outside.

Menu: Drinks run 5,000–7,000 KRW. Beans can be chosen between a nutty profile or one with more acidity.

The dessert in the front display looked like it might be a display model, but it looked so delicious I nearly forgot I was on a diet and almost ordered it.

There’s writing on the wall tracing Hit Coffee’s history, and it gives off a real sense of pride in their coffee.

I ordered a latte, choosing bean “15pm,” which has a slight acidity — it turned out to be a smooth latte with a moderate acidic edge. The coffee came out on a specially made tray or coaster — not sure what to call it exactly — but it made the whole thing feel like being properly looked after.

True to being a roastery, they sell a range of beans. I’ve been visiting roasteries a lot lately, so my bean stock at home has piled up — I skipped buying any today.
