If you are looking for a quiet escape from the bustling streets of Seoul near City Hall Station, I highly recommend Cafe ‘BonDn’ (비온디앤). Stepping into this small cafe with its weathered wooden facade feels like traveling back in time. It is not just a spot for quick caffeine; it is a unique space filled with analog memories that will make your trip to Seoul even more special.

Don’t just stay in the main ordering area. This cafe utilizes the structure of an old Korean building in a clever way. If you move further in, there is a surprising hallway space featuring an old piano and rough tables. This area offers a different, more raw vintage vibe compared to the cozy main room, making it another great spot for photos.

Opening hours: 9am - 7pm
Price range: 5,000won - 7,000won
Address: 28, Sejong-daero 18-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea

There are many plants at the entrance,
There are a lot of pictures,
There are a lot of posters,
This place has a lot of things.
I think that’s why it’s a better space.

A Vintage Atmosphere Like a Movie Scene
The interior space is small but incredibly charming. The warm wooden touches combined with soft lighting create a nostalgic atmosphere that is rare to find in the modern city center. The walls are heavily decorated with black and white photos of past visitors, vintage posters, old records, and various trinkets reflecting the owner’s personal taste. It truly feels like stepping onto a set of an old Korean movie.
The owner is known for being very kind and welcoming. It’s a cozy environment where it feels easy to strike up a quiet conversation with the owner or fellow travelers who appreciate this kind of hidden spot.
The walls are full of black and white pictures of people visiting the cafe.

t’s very small inside, but besides the space where you order
There’s more space to enjoy drinks.

High-Quality Coffee: Smooth Latte & Gentle Drip
Despite its rustic and antique appearance, the quality of coffee served here is excellent and professional.
I ordered a hot Latte, and it was exceptionally soft and savory with a nutty undertone. The milk foam was dense and velvety, showing the barista’s skill in steaming milk perfectly. It was a comforting cup, perfect for warming up in winter.
The owner also recommended the hand-drip coffee using Ethiopian beans. It wasn’t overly acidic but had a clean, gentle finish that was very pleasant to drink slowly while enjoying the cafe’s atmosphere.

Latte was soft and savory. It was good to eat
I think you’re good at making delicious bubbles with milk.

The cafe space is like a scene from a movie.
The owner is very kind and says a lot of good things. Not only are they often friends with people who visit the cafe, but it’s also an easy place for people who come to the cafe to talk and get to know each other.

If you want to talk to Korean tourists during your trip to Seoul, I recommend you to stop by Cafe ‘BonDn’ for a cup of coffee.
It will definitely be an unforgettable memory.

Thank you for reading.
I hope you enjoy the unique vibe of Seoul at Cafe BonDn.
